Opportunity comes. Daily, weekly, minute by minute—it is there. Recognizing and responding to it are easier when times are good. Seizing opportunity and making something of it when times are not good, especially within challenging economic circumstances, can be tough.
Maybe your 2019 has been marked with many successes, maybe not. What are you and I doing to see where we can improve and make positive changes for 2020?
We are encouraged to uncover opportunity and act upon it. Anyone with an open mindset views a broad landscape of factors, considers courses, and firmly decides on the basis of principle whether to act on an opportunity, taking the initiative if the answer is “yes.” Positive action overcomes doubt, replaces fear with faith and faithfulness, and generates production. Results can be nothing short of remarkable.
One example: the “what if” of explorative thinking—a necessary part of innovation and strategic planning—becomes a part of
the process when opportunity is recognized and action is engaged.
Too many may get caught up in wishing and waiting for far too long. Of course, time and consideration are necessary parts of deciding any proper course of action. But once opportunity is uncovered and choices are made, dedicated action commences. Goals are set, tasks fulfilled.
This is progress. It’s a repeating cycle. Right action can produce desired results. Results can generate new and expanded opportunities. This process recurs for any who recognize and seize it.
Now that 2019 is coming to a close: what opportunities are you seizing?
