In January, 2021, the sixth to be exact, we witnessed disgusting displays of violence and mayhem in Washington, DC. At this writing we simply do not know how all of it will conclude, or when.
Where and what are the answers?
I proclaim unashamedly that the Bible, God’s Holy Word, contains all the answers needed and desired for the preservation and restoration of the country and the hearts of its people.
Let’s start again. We can and should do this.
Traditionally, February is the month of “love.” Valentines, hearts, flowers, and chocolates. I am reminded there is merely a smattering of faithless love without truth to accompany it, and indeed, give it life. How much do you love truth, long for it, and promote it, and even defend it? It is upon truth that real love is expressed and demonstrated.
Love is powerful, true … we are told that love makes the world go around. Truth makes the world inhabitable.
Love and truth are forever linked in the final sifting of the sands of time. Freedom is the result and becomes the pathway to a fulfilled life. February is the month of love, so let’s make it the month of Loving Truth, and letting love to flow from the truth, the ultimate expression of truth as declared by Christ, Himself: “… you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32. Free to love, to learn, to obey and to support others who are on the quest of a truer love.
